Trouble assinging an Assignee if I am not the Project creator.

My colleague made the Project.

 

I have added an issue to the board, and would like to assign the issue to the someone specific.  If I try to assign to other coworkers... not a problem, but I am not able to assign the issue to the creator of the Project.  This is a problem as this is the person who I want to assign the issue to.

 

Mike created the Project.  I created an issue.  Tried to assign issue to Mike.  Cannot.

Hi @Matt Rothwell and welcome to the community!

You have to see whether Mike has the "assignable" permission. Check to which role he belongs to, and then the role's permissions.
