Starting with Jira

Hello everyone,

I am trying to move to Jira but it seems very complicated to get someone to help me set up the platform.

I have more than 20 users that need to be then working on the platform.

I tried to contact the sale team : no reply, the support team : impossible to set up a ticket.

I was hesitating between Jira and clickup for this matter i wanted to get some help in set up, i can't even seem to be able to set up "under project"

I want my dashboard to look like that

NAME OF MY WEBSITE 1

- Version 1

- Version 2

- Version 3

NAME OF MY WEBSITE 2

- Version 1

- Version 2

- Version 3

Each time i create a new project it open a complete new flow

Kindly let me know what's the best way to get someone helping you via phone

Thanks

I am not sure what you are trying to achieve here.

Jira is an issue tracker, it organises the issues into projects, and the projects define all the config about how the issues are handled (the fields, the workflow, who can do what with the issues and so-on)

As an administrator, you can create the project and put people into them so they can use the projects and issues within them.  Project creation can be done via template, so you get a project that is already designed with a purpose in mind, and needs little, if any adjustment to make it work the way you need.

So the bits I am unsure of are

1. "I want my dashboard to look like that"

Jira is divided into projects, so by "website", do you mean "project"?  Is it really as simple as a version report you want to see there?  Jira does have Dashboards for reporting, so you can do this sort of thing, but it's not too clear what you want on your dashboard.

2. Each time i create a new project it open a complete new flow

Yes, it's supposed to.  I'm assuming you mean "workflow" when you say "flow".  When you create a project though, you can tick a box for "Share settings with an existing project" - this will ask you for the existing project, and it will use the same workflow as that project (it will also use the same permissions, notifications, fields, screens and the rest)

Hello @Sindyvand

Welcome to the community!!

From the description, I understand that you need support and guidance for setting up your Jira instance and possible some consulting on how to derive the best value and optimal usage of the platform.

I would suggest you approach the Atlassian Partners in your geography, who can help you with this. The partners can be found here.

Kindly accept the answer if this helps you.
