I am able to add multiple users to an approval, however I don't see a way to set it so that I only need 1 approval from the list of approvers to mark the issue as approved. Right now all users in the approver list must approve, which is not what I want. How do I achieve this?
Did you get an answer to your question because I struggle with the same.
We have tasks that need 5 approvers but only 1 is enough to go to the next status.
I have same question as the OP. I want to add a list of potential approvers and set the number of approvals to trigger the approved transition.

Hey Victor - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
I am wondering if there is an action that you can detect (field value changed somewhere) when the first Approval happens. And then you might could do an auto transition using an automation rule to the next status in the workflow.

Hi @Victor Song
As a part of Approval setup, while giving the approver field name, did you select the people who you want to approve the issue?
For the step by step setup being mentioned, please refer to here. Esp step 7 in section
Set up approvals from the approvals view
Any questions just call out.

I don't think that answers his question about the number of users required for the approval.
