Hello,
I can't find issues using the search bar in the LIST vue
Exemple 1 : Custom field "Affaire" with the entry : A24-736
It is not possible to find it in the list vue when I enter A24-736 or "A24-736" or 736
it is only possible to find it in the Ticket vue and only if I enter "A24-736" and not when I enter A24-736 or 736
How can I be able to find issues in the LIST vue by searching the customfield information ? why I can't have the same results from both LIST vue and TICKET vue?
Regards,
Safae LAZAAR
Hello Lazaar,
Have you tried using the "filter" tab in List view -> Custom fields -> Select the custom field you want the list to be filtered on ?
Kind regards
Hello,
The field I need "affaire" is not in available in the Custom fields.
the filter tab shows dates or fields that containd a dropdown list for exemple, it does not show the free text type.
Regards,

welcome to the community!
I don't know if this problem, in itself, justifies additional tooling for you, but just to put it out there: If you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you may want to have a look at the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a long list of advanced features - including support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting - and works across any number of projects.
Plus, its search works across any fields in your sheet, including all custom fields:
You can also use logical operators (like "OR"), and even regular expressions for more advanced use cases. Of course, you can also always use column filtering to narrow down your list of issues.
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes

Very interesting!
Thank you for your recommandation.
Is it possible to change the langage of the app?

great to hear that JXL might be useful to you!
Most issue data (like for example the status) should be displayed in the user's language, but the various actions etc. are currently English only. This being said, we're actively working on language support, and plan to ship the first languages soon. Just for us to keep track of the requirements, what language would you be after?
Best,
Hannes

Yes, this is definitely going to be a priority. JXL will automatically update once your configured language becomes available; otherwise, if you want to get in touch at https://jxl.app/support, we'd also be happy to keep you posted on any updates.
Merci bien,
Hannes
