Hi, 

 

I am curious if there is a service for scheduling automation service integrated into Jira. Is it possible to input a project into Jira and for it to automatically assign an individual based on schedule availability or other criteria?

Assigning issues based on a schedule for Jira Work Management (JWM) could be done using an automation rule and the Assign Issue action, with rule conditions to decide who to assign and when.

I suggest trying to create some test rules and just writing values to the audit log, rather than assigning, until you learn if this will meet your needs.

 

Also, there are more advanced assignment capabilities in Atlassian marketplace addons.
