Restrict user access to their issues in a jira work management project

Hello Community,

We have a lot of projects configured in Jira Work Management.

We would like to adjust the policy so, every user in a project has access only in the issues where this user is Assignee, Reporter, Assignor or Mentioned.

Any assistance in this is kindly appreciated.

Hello @Ioannis Fotiadis

Welcome to community!

You can follow the below steps

  1. Go to Jira settings > Issues > Permission schemes.
  2. Choose Permissions for the Default Permission Scheme (or the permission scheme being used for the projects).
  3. Click Edit, choose Project Role, and select the Browse project role we previously created.
  4. Click Grant.

Thanks & Regards,

Zulfiqar Bin Zafar

Thank you for your response.

Hey @Ioannis Fotiadis

Welcome to community !

From your requirement it looks like you can configure a Issue Security Scheme, please have a look at this KB https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/configure-issue-security-schemes/

Regards,

Vishwas
