Subtask in Timeline for Project Management template

We have any way to hide the subtasks in Timeline view or show as nested (tree) with parent tasks?

Any way to order or manage the view in any way?

Really no options for this view exist, I think that this is an important view for this template and this view is not usable

In general deleting issues from an issue tracking system will eventually lead to problems. You'll delete the wrong one, someone will want it back, someone will question why it was deleted, and more. I suggest a special transition that sets a resolution to Deleted or Canceled and requires and explaination as to why and the transition should be restrcted to the project lead. They are resolved so won't appear in most standard reports, can be searched for, and you'll have an audit trail of when, by whom, and why.

Unfortunately there is no activity stream or history for a deleted issue, even the Information is sent out as notification, if a notification scheme is used.

It is not recommended to delete issues, even not longer needed or created by mistake, but it happens, especially you you are sharing the admin permission for specific projects. 

The only history you have in Jira is that the key is not used and was not moved. If one issue was deleted by mistake, you would need to restore it from an older backup file. You can Import a single issue, but I am not sure yet, if it is possible to restore the used key.

A deleted issue is deleted. It is gone. There is no history, no audit trail, and no way to recover it in Jira.

If you had backups, maybe you can look in your backups.

Nope, nothing, it's gone, dead, joined the choir invisible, turned its toes up, ended, finished, nullified...

The only trace of a deleted issue you will find is:

1. Records of a page hit in the logs, IF you are using something like apache to log page hits in that level of detail

2. A hole in the numbers (if you've got ABC-1, ABC-2, ABC-3, and you delete ABC-2, it'll be obvious that there was something there, but it's gone now)

3. Your backups will contain the issue, and that's the only place you'll be able to recover it from

General advice - if you can't completely block "delete issue", then always limit it to *just* administrators. I wouldn't even let project owners have it. Admins only.
