I am trying to create a project from an external service using rest API, but I can't find every project template key value for each kind of template.
I know there are some of them on: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v2/api-group-projects/#api-rest-api-2-project-post . But it is not enough, there are several templates not included there.
Does anyone has any extra documentation where I can find this?
Specifically, I am talking about 3 different products: Jira Software, Jira Services Management and Jira Work Management. Each product has its own different templates.
I appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks,
Jose Ignacio Rodriguez
You will need to explicitly add the field Epic Name to the screen which confirms to Epic issue type and your project.
Go to issue type screen scheme for your project, check the screen scheme which is associated with epic issue type, then go to that screen scheme and check the screens that are associated for create, edit and view issues. Add epicname to all those three screens. Your field will appear.

Hi @Rahul Aich [Nagra],
I have everything setup and all schemes and associations are made and linked to my project, but the Epic Name field is still not visible on my screen. When doing the "find my field" thing, it states that the field is not in the scope of the project, but opening the field configurations the field is linked to my screen.
Is there anything else other then above that will help resolve this?
Thanks

Hi Nico
I'm having the same problem as you had. were you able to solve it?
I followed the steps in this link and it worked for sometime but I guess after re-indexing the Epic Name is not visible again on a custom Epic type issue's screen.
