Purchasing request in Jira Work Management

Hi,

Can you please advise if Jira can do below my wishes?

1. Raise a purchasing request ticket in Jira
2. Requestor needs to fill out the pre-defined field
   • If requested for a single item, it is easy and can be update by pre-defined field
   • However, if asking for multiple, how should I ask requestor to raise in a single ticket? One way I could see is to copy a table with all item list and paste it in the description. But then I cannot monitor timeline by each item as under sub-task. 

Is there any way to do so?

This could be one of many plugins that is not uptodate with respect to jira 4.4 - or you don't have the latest version... look at your workflow and see what the post-functions are. If nothing special there take a look at the listeners.

I'm getting the assignee from a custom field using a plugin called issue-alternative-assignee (com.iamhuy.jira.plugin.issue-alternative-assignee).

Shoot. Looks like 4.4 is not yet supported...

You could write your own plugin but first I'd ask Huy Phan when he plans to updade it.
