Integration of Jira Work Management and Jira Software

I would like to know if Jira Software and Jira Work Management are somehow connected. 

Our dev team and marketing team are already using Jira Software. I was wondering if our sales people and our leadership team would become users of Jira Work Management, could they share tasks and collaborate with colleagues who are using Jira Software?

Or are both systems completely different, disconnected applications?

Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

Hi Panguin.

At this moment, there is no plugin and by default JIRA does not have thsis feature.
However, there is a plugin that might suit your requirement:

- JIRA Charting Plugin

- in which they have First Response Date - required to be installed, this custom field indexes the date of the first comment that is not by the reporter (for fast querying during charting) but also allows you to add this date into any filter or search.
