I'm trying to demo an addon integration (SVN Gateway), but my trial Atlassian account will not allow me to edit the permissions. My Admin account does not seem to have the "atlassian-addons-project-access" role (containing the "View Development Tools" permission), which is required to view the Development field showing the commit history. Does the Jira Software product have different permissions set up for trial accounts?
Hi Niclas one more question... There's no way to set the transition to auto assign the issue to a user by the Post Functions feature, correct? In order to do that I'll have to use the automation plugin, right?

However there are several users in my group. We don't know who will receive the ticket. That is why I wanted a transition that changes the status once the user opens the ticket.

You can do a lot of things but the best is to make a transition that assigns the issues to the user and changes status. You can also look into the free automation plugins.
