Can I use text formatting notation during editing issues?

I currently use Jira Work Management. Though the interface of it is really good, the text formatting feature just aren't complete enough. I highly rely on formatting notation while creating issues, but it drives me crazy that I can only use it while creating not editing.

Can Jira add a switch for formatting notation mode to the editing screen? Just like the creating screen.

No, unfortunately :(

if you need to add so many issues to the dashboard, may be the best is to share the filter itself to others rather than the dashboard. I also used to share the printable view (Views > Printable) of the filter so that all the sidebar and other stuff are hidden and just the table of issues are shown when users click the link which I share.
