Hi! My current organisation is using Jira Server at the moment while I have worked with previous organisations using the JIRA cloud instead. I am looking at using the project management template however since we are not with JIRA cloud, I won't be able to use that specific work management tool.
My question is, will we be able to purchase a license based on the users that will be using that template? And not migrate the whole set-up entirely to the cloud? I am just looking for a way to be able to still use the template without causing huge changes in the org set-up. Do you have any recommendations?
Those templates are nothing but set of configurations. You don't have to pay extra for that, Jira licensing is based on number of users. You can always recreate those configurations, if you are on server then you have more customisation options available. Do you have a document or details of those templates that you are used to?
Ravi
Thank you so much for your response! This is the link to the template I have been using from the other organisation using JIRA Cloud. I have requested this to our JIRA Admin and he was saying that this template is for Jira Cloud, we do not use Jira Cloud, hence, this cannot be done.

Just following up on my question above, is there available data centre configuration details for this template? That I can share with them? Or what do you suggest will be good to do instead?
Thank you!
