Please see the questions I have added under Details.

1) How can I modify the Board under my project?

2) Some assigned Users no longer work for the Company so how can I assign a different User to a specific status column?

3) How can I remove a specific status column that is no longer needed?

4) How do I crate New status columns?

5) Can I setup a meeting with a tech support person for Atlassian that could walk me thru this process and assist with questions?

Ok, so I think there's some confusion as to what a board is here, but let's start with direct answers:

  • It depends on the board.  If it is a basic Jira Work Management Board, then you don't directly configure it .  If it's a Software board, then look to board configuration for a lot more options
  • Columns contain status, not users.  I am not sure what the question is here?
  • In JWM boards, the board follows the workflow
  • In JWM boards, the board follows the workflow
  • You could raise a support call at https://support.atlassian.com/contact and if the issues you are having merits it, they will arrange a direct call.  In this case though, I suspect they will refer you to the documentation and the community here before that.

Start with https://support.atlassian.com/jira-work-management/docs/monitor-your-work-with-the-board/ and then https://support.atlassian.com/jira-work-management/docs/workflows-and-statuses-for-the-board/ for the focus on the columns/workflow interaction
