I have added a couple of new columns to my list view. I would like to pin the sequence and the columns on my project to ensure all teams members view the exact list of tasks/details. Is that possible?
Hi Sheetal - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
This is a known problem for JWM projects. You can vote for the feature request and follow it here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JWMCLOUD-173
Hi @Sheetal Joshi,
welcome to the community!
if you are referring to Jira Work Management's list view, to the best of my knowledge, any changes a user is making to this view (e.g., adding columns) are only visible to this particular user.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
... and to offer an immediate solution: If you are open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, this would work as desired in the app that my team is working on, JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting and filtering by all your issue fields. In JXL, you build your perfect table views by adding, removing, and re-arranging columns, among many other advanced features and configurations - and by default, these views are shared across all your users.
This is how it looks in action:
JXL adds itself to the project sidebar, so many of our customers use it successfully as an extension to the native list view. It's also worth noting that JXL works with all project types, not only JWM projects.
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes

I am not sure what you think a "pinned column" would do differently/ Jira's boards are a collection of columns, defined by the board admins, ordered as they chose, and presented to all th users in a common shared way. What would you do differently if a column was "pinned"?
