No sidebar in board

As a long time jira software user I'm used to viewing and editing issues in the sidebar of the boards.

I have now setup a small Jira Work Management project for myself. When viewing the board and clicking on an issue it always opens in a popup dialog. Is there some way to activate the sidebar for Jira Work Management boards?

Hi Fabian - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

The board for JWM projects has been revamped and doesn't use the sidebar.

You can get something similar by clicking on Issues on the left and then select the Detail View at the top.
