Hi,

 

Looking to try some apps which provide a 30-day free trial. My question is, once my 30-day free trial is up, does billing start automatically or does it finish and I have to manually purchase the full version?

Hi @Luka Basic Welcome to Community.

Billing will start at the end of your trial, but since apps will be billed at the same time as your Jira instance, you'll probably get a bit more than 30 days free.

For example: your Jira instance is billed the 10th of each month. You start a trial for an app on the 1st; since there are only 9 days until your billing, you will be able to trial the app for 9 + 30 days.
