Issue not displayed on board

I have created an issue called 'Cagdas Mandali'. When I go to Projects > List it appears with a status Contacted. However, when I go to the board, it is not in the column for status Contacted. When I search on 'Cagdas' it doesn't appear. (All other filters have ben cleared)
The same is happening with another 3 issues that I added recently. Cagdas Mandali - in list.pngCagdas Mandali - not on board.png

I am currently experiencing this issue. Doesn't matter if the issues were created manually or with an automation. They do not show in the board view but do appear in the list view. This even includes issues in different statuses. One status, has only 3 issues in it, but still doesn't show on the board, but clearly visible in the list view.

Hi Margriet - why type of project is this? Team-managed? Company-managed? Jira Work Management?

Are you able to find the issue by just running a filter? Something like: text ~ Cagdas

Hi John, it is a business project. And yes, when using a filtered search I can find it. So it definitely exists :-) It just doesn't appear on the board, even when I search for it there.

When you look at it in the filter, do you see anything different about it than another card that DOES show on the board? Maybe a different status or Issue Type?

Good point, but no, I checked this - nothing obvious to me. We have been using the same procedure for issues for a long time (nothing has changed in that respect). What is potentially interesting is that it is now happening to all issues that have been created recently, since Tuesday 08/06. When a new issue is created, they only appear for a few seconds at the bottom of the board (in the appropriate column) and then disappear.

Well, there has to be something different about them I would think.

How are the new ones getting created? Is it manual? By automation?

Is there any Issue Level Security involved?

They are created manually, by the same person as before the issue occurred. There have been no changes with regards to access or security. Also note that the issue does appear on the list but not on the board. So it's not like it's not visible/accessible at all.

@Jane Yeoh  - Can you help with this one? The issue is on the project but not showing on the board for the JWM project.

I'm having trouble reproducing this, but the team is looking into this so hopefully we'll have an update for you shortly.

Hi,

I just noticed in my yearly search engine report that my name was used here, and it was about a Jira discussion :) I have so far used Jira only in localization projects - latest being in 2012 or so, and I got really curious why an issue with my name was created by someone I don't know :)

P.S: My name and surname combo is unique and I'm currently the only bearer of it in the world

Hi @Cagdas Mandali  - Maybe you clicked on the Watch link above? Does it say watching?

@Margriet Kapteyn  - This is working fine for me now. Does it work for you?

Not really, I think this one will go among the unknowns of the universe for me since OP isn't replying either
