In the user Profile is it possible to custom fields such as qualifications/ skills/ salary?

We want to use Jira workforce management to help manage our resource capability and quickly assign work to people with the right skills and qualifications to the job needed.

Hi Paul - Welcome to the the Atlassian Community!

Sure - I would create a new Jira Work Management project and then create a card/issue for each resource/person. Then I would create custom fields for those things you want to track, and populate them for each person.

Then you can run reports to see the skills and qualifications.

Hi @Paul Rhodes,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

You can either use the legacy user properties to do this that you can access when going to the user profile. Just be aware that due to GDPR this may go away in the future. Your other option is to use the new user properties that is only available via REST API. The new properties should be available in automations according to the smart values associated with a user.
