I can't add more options to a custom field dropdown

I have added a custom field to my system that is a dropdown to indicate the particular client the task id for.  However I wikl need to go in and add more clients to the lost as we get more clients.  This doesn't seem to be possible as I can't see a way to add more options after the first time.

Also can i make a custom field to appear on all projects by default ?

Hello @Phil Sztejnmiler,

You can add more options to your dropdown custom field by going to Issues -> Custom fields -> find your field -> click on 3 dots -> Contexts and default value -> Edit options.

If you need this field to appear in projects, you need to have it on the screens projects use.

If you need it to be required and everywhere, you can make it required on field configuration and it will be required and visible on every project.

I hope this helps :D

Best regards,

Marko Blagus

without it being required will it still appear in all projects if it is set to the default screen?

Yes, if you set it on your default screen for all projects, it will appear on every project.

I believe I have done those things yet it is not showing up as a field on my issues in any project.  I am extremely new to the software so apologies if I am not understanding.

I have checked the box for default screen but still not in my projects

Did you add your screen to screen scheme and that screen scheme to issue type screen scheme? If you've done that, did you associate that issue type screen scheme to projects you want to have that field?
