Hi @sunday Joseph 

You can configure Jira's custom fields as OKRs (3rd option in a guide) and connect them to actual issues.

I would recommend the following setup:

  1. Create “Select List (cascading)” custom fields for OKRs
  2. Add “Objective” and “Key Result” to the Issue Scheme
  3. Add OKRs to the Jira Issues that contribute to them
  4. Build a filter for your future OKR reports
  5. Build your OKR Dashboard in Jira
  6. Create a Confluence page for advanced visibility (Optional)


From the user's standpoint, it will look as follows:

I've also added detailed guidance on building a report on them in the handbook I've mentioned above.

Hello @sunday Joseph 

OKRs are not a native feature or default field in Jira. How have you added OKRs to your instance? Did you add a third party app that added OKR functionality? If so, which one?
