Hello I was trying to find a way how to find URL on Cloud, but even if I am using the URL which should be used, Taiga implementation through JIRA is telling me Invalid JIRA server configuration.
Can you help me find a way how to correctly set this URL address if our does not work?
Thank you
Hey Jan,
Isn't this more likely a question for Tagia? If you've got a valid project URL, then there's nothing Jira can do.
What is the Tagia system asking for in the Jira URL? Are there any notes on how Tagia expects Jira to be configured?
You also mention "Server". Could it be that Cloud, being very different software to Server/DC is doing things differently and Tagia doesn't yet support it?
Hello @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- ,
I believe the question would be aimed towards Taiga for sure if I would be able to recognize, that I have correct URL from JIRA.
That is also, why I am trying to find out if there is any correct format of JIRA URL, which I could try.
So far I have tried URL in formats:
- https://company-name.atlassian.net/jira/core
- https://company-name.atlassian.net
Unfortunately none of them work, so If I am able to establish, that the issue is not on this side I can then approach Taiga with letting them know I need a bit help.
As of "Server" and "Cloud" I have been trying to find some answers, but it does not seems, there is any issues with accessibility from Taiga side towards JIRA in any case.
Thank you
J.

Atlassian software does have a concept of "base URL" - this is where an Atlassian system is centred, and where the system builds URLs from (for example, all issues in Jira are always found on HTTP(s)//<base URL>/browse/<project>-<issue number>)
Most apps that connect into a Jira just want the base URL, which, in your example, would be https://company-name.atlassian.net/jira
So, you need to ask Tagia why they are not accepting that as a valid "base URL". They may well need more - some apps and connections do not assume that "base url + what we think we need to look at" is enough (in some cases, they are right), and they need to be given a very specific link.
But, either way, you need to be asking Taiga what they are expecting for "a Jira url". Is it the base url? Is that all it needs?

Thanks you @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- for explanation, I will proceed to contact Taiga support in order to find out.
