I have no need for the screen when I go from Open to Done. How can I eliminate the extra step involving the screen.

You can edit the transition to use no screen. It may be easier to do this in diagram view then you can select the physical arrow/transition.

Hi Ken,
Go to Settings (gear icon) > Issues > Workflows
Search for the workflow you want to change.
Then click Edit
Then select Diagram - that should show you what you have in your image.
Then click on the Transition. In the popup to the right select Edit
In that Edit Transition popup select the option for Screen and choose None
