How to I get to my organization projects via the Atlassian account?

I am looking to export JIRA ticket data to excel - I have added the JIRA cloud plug-in but cannot locate my project tickets specific to my organization? I need help navigating from the Atlassian account log-in page to my company JIRA dashboard? Hope that makes sense

Hi @Varissa M Dawson

Just in case you're still looking for assistance - are you looking to perform a manual export, or connect Excel to Jira?

---

Manual Export

To do this...

  • Login to your account, which should take you to your Jira homepage
  • Select Filters (on the top navigation bar) > Advanced Issue Search
  • Set the parameters for your search.
    • If the data is present on a Jira Dashboard, you might also be able to select a pre-built Filter from the left-hand side.
  • Switch to Column View if you aren't there already. You can do this...
    • Using the Change View button, which is furthest right of the "Search" button
    • Using the keyboard shortcut "t"
  • Use the Columns button to select the Columns (fields) you wish to include in your export
  • Once you're happy with your data, select Export in the top-right
  • Select Export Excel CSV - the text in the brackets will either by "my defaults" or "filter fields" depending if you chose a saved filter or not

Note: You can also choose to Export Excel CSV (all fields) but this will include all fields available in Jira.

Connect Excel to Jira

You can also connect Excel to Jira to export data to Excel and visualise it.

This uses an App - see: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1221301/jira-cloud-for-excel-official?tab=overview&hosting=cloud
