How do I speak with someone from Atlassian for an understanding of how to integrate as a new user?

We do not currently use a company-wide project management software.  I would like to talk to someone about our needs and see what product from Atlassian might be best and go through how we would integrate, what to expect, and to give us general advice.

I would suggest that you use the Atlassian Partner Directory to contact a solution partner near to you. Solution partners can help you identify which Atlassian products would be best to meet your different requirements.

Solution partners can specialize in different areas, like Cloud, ITSM or Agile at Scale, but if you are looking for more generic advice, you can also search by products or services.

  How does that work for people that may not know about our systems?  Is this part of becoming an Atlassian partner that you help out potential new users?  Does Atlassian have a sales staff?

Atlassian have sales staff, but solution partners tend to be consultancies that have practical experience with implementations, so can help you decide which products you want to get, plan and offer training for your end users and help you configure the different tools to get you up and running. I understood that was what you wanted to achieve.
