How do I fix 'Could not find create meta data for project/type Id 10028/10068' automation error

In Project A: I'm trying to run automation rule 'when: issue transitioned to X'  'then: Create a new same issue type as trigger in Project B'.  this fails, and I get 'Some Errors' report in the error log - the detail of which is in the question.  Do I need to be a JIRA admin to send issues across projects...?   Cheers

Hello @Kevin Shaw

Welcome to the Atlassian community!

Whenever asking for help with an automation rule that is not working there are a few things that you need to provide:

1. Provide the details of your rule. A screen image of the rule is very helpful.

2. If the rule is triggered and something is not working the way you expect, provide us with a copy of the Audit Log for that execution of the rule.

What are the types of the source and destination projects? Are the Company Managed or Team Managed? Are they Service, Software, or Business/Work Management projects?

What is specified for the Actor of the rule?

Does Project B include an issue type that is the same as the issue type of the issue from Project A that triggered the rule?

Does the Actor of the rule have permissions to create issues in Project B?
