How do I add more status options in Jira work management

I would like to add some more options for my work, eg: to complete, need help, send to …, update, send update, new situation, etc.

Hi @Emily King and welcome to the community

For team managed projects:

  • Go to project settings:
  • Issue type
  • Select your issue type
  • Edit Workflow
  • Add todo/inprogress/done status
  • Update workflow

For company managed projects:

  • Go to project settings
  • Workflows
  • Edit workflow (pencil icon)
  • Add statuses (this will work if you are a project admin and you are using the simplified workflow)
  • Publish workflow
