How do I add more status options in Jira work management

Question

I would like to add some more options for my work, eg: to complete, need help, send to …, update, send update, new situation, etc.

Hi @Emily King and welcome to the community

For team managed projects:

* Go to project settings:
* Issue type
* Select your issue type
* Edit Workflow
* Add todo/inprogress/done status
* Update workflow

For company managed projects:

* Go to project settings
* Workflows
* Edit workflow (pencil icon)
* Add statuses (this will work if you are a project admin and you are using the simplified workflow)
* Publish workflow
