We would like to be able to continue to search all issues (including completed ones) by client. I can't seem to find information on if they are automatically depreciated after a certain period of time post-completion, the way they are in Jira Software. And if depreciated, whether they will still appear in searches.

The cards will disappear from the board after 2 weeks, but you can always search for them. It's a good idea to update your Permission Scheme to not allow anyone (maybe except Jira Adminisrators) to Delete issues.
