Disable Board View / Make Issues or List view Default when clicking on a Project

Hi there,

Hoping it's possible to disable the 'Board' view from projects in JWM?

We have multiple workflows for different issue types that breaks the board view anyway, so hoping there's a method to either:

  1. Disable the board view entirely, and/or
  2. Make when clicking on a project (eg. from Projects drop-down at the top) that you are directed to the list List view (ie: domain.atlassian.net/jira/core/projects/FOO/list/) or the Issues view (.../FOO/issues/), and
  3. If this can be set per-board.

Thanks!

Hello @Rob Di Toro,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

The Board on Jira Work Management projects (and also on Jira Software projects) can’t be disabled.

There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:

Regarding the landing page when accessing the project, it’s currently not possible to modify that. There is also a ticket suggesting this improvement:

Please, click on vote on both tickets and also watch to receive updates from our product managers.

If you have any other questions regarding this matter, please let us know.

Kind regards,
Angélica
