Deactivate a user account

I am trying to Deactivate an account for a staff member who has left the company, but I get an error message that I can't deactivate the account because this person is a project lead. 

How can I change the project lead to someone else in the group or the team?

Hi Valerie,

I can't see the section for "Project Lead" so I can't change it. Is it because of my access? I have administrator access.
