Can a custom date field be used and map to Jira Work Management Timeline View and Calendar View

In JWM it seems issues are displayed and mapped to the Timeline View and Calendar view when the Jira default "Start date" and "Due date" fields are used and filled in.

Is it possible to use a custom field of field type - date picker to be used by the Timeline View and Calendar View? eg if I create a custom field "Next start date" and "Next due date".

Right now issues only seem to be shown in the Timeline and Calendar view of a JWM project when using the default fields

The "Basic Roadmap" and calendar view use one set of fields (Start Date/Due Date).

This differs to "Advanced Roadmaps" in Jira Premium, where a custom set of date pickers can be used.

Thanks @Stephen Wright _Elabor8_

Based on my readings, I would agree that just not possible atm.

I'll also note here, if helpful for future community readers that at present team-managed projects and Advanced Roadmaps are not yet fully integrated with each other. It might be coming as per this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-20012
