I'm testing Jira Product Discovery (it's in beta), still I hope someone can answer my question.
I would like to create an automation for my issue. I have a custom formula field (called number) that counts the number of elements in a multi select field (called Customers). Now I want to use the custom formula field in the 'Field value changed' trigger for my automation. Unfortunately I can't find the custom formula field in the trigger.
Any idea why?
Hi @Tobias Struck, welcome to the community :-)
Looks like you're running into one of the "known limitations of JPD beta", see this thread:
https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Product-Discovery-articles/Known-limitations-of-Jira-Product-Discovery-beta/ba-p/2069648
Some fields aren't supported in automation rules, in particular:
- Formula fields
- ...
Let's hope JPD makes it across the finish line, soon :-)
Btw, check out the JPD community group. Great place for getting answers, or giving feedback about, JPD!
