Can I filter Epics out in Kanban board for all users?

Epics don't follow same workflow as tasks and would clutter up Kanban board. Is there a recommended approach to manage Epics on a Board in JWM? Can you make them not visible for all users? ie. If I apply a filter to a board, does that filter apply stay and apply to all users?

Hi Dave,

Unfortunately no, there is not a way to exclude Epics on a JWM project board for all users.

The alternative would be to create a Jira Software board where you can do that, but you would have to add it as a shortcut on the left hand side for the users to click on. And the built-in board would continue to show the Epics if they clicked on that.

Thanks @John Funk  A little hacky, but maybe I simply create a new column to move all Epics to so out of sight/organized together. Ultimately, Epics less useful though in JWM without ability to nest in List/Timeline views.
