Can I add a backlog column on the board in the Project Management Template?

I have created a company managed project using the Work Management, "project management" template.  I would like to add the backlog swimlane to the kanban board.  Is this possible?  I have admin rights.  There is no option on the board, no features section. i found the workflow under project settings "Screens" but am unable to modify.

Hi @Jennifer Gonzalez , welcome on the community. You can achieve it by adding new status to your workflow. Boards in work management projects simply displays columns equal to the workflow statuses.

You need to be jira administrator to be able to adjust your workflow as it can be shared between multiple projects.
