Bug with Microsoft Teams Jira Plugin

Hi all,

When using the Microsoft Teams Jira plugin to insert a card into a message, a preview of the card does not show whilst you're composing a message but will appear after the message is sent.

The expected behaviour would be for the card to show as you are composing the message.

Hi,

This is a Microsoft issue that is observable in multiple Microsoft Teams apps. It is also visible in Advanced Microsoft Teams Jira Connector.

We also contact Microsoft to solve it.

Regards,

Leo

Hi @Anthony Phan,

This behavior isn't inherent to Microsoft Teams, or to Jira integrations in Teams.

Integration+ by Nextup.ai can insert a card into a message, and hold a preview of the card while you're composing your message. Exactly as you expect.

Watch a video here: preview-of-card-in-teams.gif

Reach out to product@nextup.ai if you want to chat.

Thank you!

Best,
David
