I have a board where one team uses for getting project data and when the data is collected that issues will go into the Done column on the first board. When it gets to that column I want it to automatically move the issue to a new board for processing.
Hi Emily,
You can't really do that per se with Jira Work Management projects. But there are some options.
1. You can create a Jira Software board that can show the same issues when they "move" to this new board. The problem is that the board will not show as the board on your JWM projects - you would need to add this new board as a shortcut link from the board.
2. Second option is to close the issues in the first project when they are done, and instead of "moving" them to another board, you could create an automation rule that clones the card to the second Jira Work Management project.
All of this is assuming that both projects are Jira Work Management projects and one is not a Jira Software project.
