Hi
Wondering if anyone is able to provide some guidance on how to change the default translation for fields in JIRA. Reason - We have some users in Mexico who use Spanish as their language.
For example JIRA has translated Assignee to Responsable and they would prefer to see Asignado. There are probably a few other fields that are affected by this.
I have tried a number of searches for this, so apologies if this is something that is able to be easily set. (I am coming back to JIRA after 6 years, -and there have been a few changes. Also i used to user my own server and now using the cloud. )
Thank you Lyn for your question.
We need this in French too.
This has been a problem in every company I worked for..

Hi Lyn - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
That's probably not something that can be changed. Just like we can't change it from Assignee to something else in English.
I would suggest you open a support ticket with Atlassian to see what they say.
