Adding new users

Hi, please advice, I have in my organization 3 products - Jira Work Management, Jira Software and Confluence, and I cannot add a new user only for Jira Work Management or only in Jira Software, because Jira Work Management is the default for all new users. How can I change it?

Hello @Sello 

It is possible to allow a user to have access only to Jira Work Management without access to Jira Software.

I'm not sure if it is actually possible to give access to only Jira Software and not Jira Work Management, because the functionality of Jira Work Management is currently included in Jira Software.

To help provide more guidance I'll need to get some clarity about your environment and your level of access.

Are you only a Site Admin, or are you also an Organization Admin? If you go to https://admin.atlassian.com, what options do you see?

If you drill into the details of a user account through https://admin.atlassian.com, what do you see? The view can be affected by the subscription you have (free vs. paid) and whether you have set up an IDP for user provisioning.

In some environments (free, no IDP) I see a view like this:
