This is for Jira Work Management, on a company managed project. How do I add custom JQL quick filters to the board.

The quick answer is you can't right now. Hopefully, they will be rolling out more functionality as to quick filters for the board soon, but I don't know a timeline.

In order to limit the issues on a board using filters, you need to configure the board and set the filter query.
For this, please navigate to the board settings from the 3 dots menu on the right-hand side top and update the filter query.
