We have built a Jira Work Management to help a non-for-profit to manage all its work with needing families. Before Jira, they were using spreadsheets and taking a lot of effort to understand the status and report on their activities.
With Jira we have taken it to the next level! Families were issues, and activities were subtasks. With all the right custom fields, there were able to centralize information and with subtasks they were able to track all the initiatives like donation of medicine, clothes, food or even shelter.
A simple workflow help them understand the status of families and subtasks and let them know when to perform the correct initiative to help.
But what made a huge difference was the Dashboards! With powerful dashboards, they were able to track all the activities and get real-time information about the families they were supporting.
