remove a required field when clon a ticket

Hi there,

Is there a way to pop up the edit screen if I remove a required field when closing a ticket? So the user can fill in the required field and create a ticket.

I have tried to add a post function to clear the required field in "create" transition, then the field was clear and the ticket was created successfully without checking required field. Is this a expected behavior?

Except for using post function, is there another solution to achieve it, thanks.

Hi @eric lai , thanks for your question.

You will need to things to achieve this. The first is that you need to create a transition screen with the field on it that you want them to fill in, then add the screen to the transition like this -

And then you can use a validator always on the same transition of 'field required' to make it mandatory to fill in to complete the transition -

I hope this helps you.

Cheers
