Hi everyone,
I am using a Scrum Board. Have changed the Swimlanes settings into "User story" based, but in the Active Sprint board, it's not working properly.
I have been expecting to have each user story in a separate row, with their respective subtasks, and progress status.
What I got, is that:
- onlyone User Story is placed separately, the rest of the user stories moved to Other section alongside the rest of tasks.
- the only use story placed separately, is not showing it's all subtasks, only one subtask is availble.
Below is the reference.
Hello @Haykaz Nahapetyan
Welcome to the community.
When setting Swimlanes to User Stories only the stories that have Subtasks will display as a separate swimlane. The story itself appears as a header for the swimlane, while the subtasks for that story display as cards in the swimlane.
Stories that have no subtasks will be shown in the Other Issues section at the bottom of the board.
This is the intended functionality.
Can you provide evidence that your one story that is showing in a swimlane has more than the one subtask shown? Can you show us the Details View for that one story showing that it has multiple subtasks? If it does, are the Status values for all those subtasks include in your Status/Columns mapping for this board?
Hey @Trudy Claspill , thank you for your quick response.
Yes, I have several subtasks in my User story, but they are not visible in the Swimlane. But, I guess it's related to the Status values that you described.
Can you pls advise me, how I can set proper Status values?

If your issue has been resolved by this answer it would be lovely if you marked the Answer as Accepted. That helps other community users find the posts with working solutions.

@Haykaz Nahapetyan Could you please share what you found that was missing? I'm experiencing the same issue.

hi @Scott Theus , I have missed mentioning my "Team", that's why the tickets were missing from my board.
