"New issue" automation trigger does not work for cloned issues

1. I created a first automation in board X, that creates a clone on board Y.

2. I created a second automation in board Y where I want to create sub-tasks. However, the "New issue" automation trigger does not work for "new" cloned issues.

How would you approach this?

Hi @Stephen Corbiaux , thanks for your question.

Can you already create the sub-tasks in the first automation? I just went to the Jira automation template library | Atlassian and made this example -

Have you already tried something like this?

I solved it. The key was to check this box on the second rule
