"Issue Link" (linking issues) values, can I hide and show certain values by project or issue type?

Issue Linking is a global configuration and ours got out of control. We are only a segment of users so making global changes is really difficult.

Is there a way to hide or show specific values in the issue linking functionality that meet a certain criteria. ie

if project = x or issue type = y then only show "blocks" + "relates to" when someone goes to link an issue?

Hello @Jamie Gerace

That is not available with native Jira functionality. There is a change request about it here:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-16325

I found this 2019 post that claims to have a solution if you are open to using the third party app Scriptrunner from Adaptavist.

This is exactly what I was looking for -- really appreciate it!
