jira.view.issue.links.sort.order ignored?

Problem: I'd like my linked issues to be shown in issueview ordered by key.

What I did: changed the jira.view.issue.links.sort.order value to key.

Expected result: Items should appear ordered by their keys.

Actual results: zero changes regardless of the value I set for the config mentioned above. Do I need to "save" these settings or "force" the refresh somewhere?

This the expected behavior at the moment in the new issue view. If you check this KB on configure issue linking it states that currently jira.view.issue.links.sort.order is not supported:

Oh - hadn't realised I was using this "new jira issue view" until I started digging about it, that's why I didn't pay attention to this note.

It seems that we can't roll back to the previous old view [1], so there's no solution for the time being.

Thanks @Mikael Sandberg !
