it is possible to delete 'External issue id" ?

Hi, 

in jira , i have a lot of "external issue id" (3 pages)
i found it is a bug when importing  : https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/MIG-391

 

do you know if it is possible to remove these fields, without impacting the functioning of jira?

What is this field for?

Hello @Melanie Liguet

 

Yes you can remove this field without impacting Jira.

As proposed in MIG-391. You may want to leave one with a global context so that future imports will not going to keep creating this field
