is there a way for me to lock a project down so that only certain workers can see

i have a project that only a few workers need to see how do i keep the rest of the organization from having access to view it

Hi Stacia - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You can control that by modifying the Permission Scheme associated with the project. Just change the Browse Project permission to only those people you want to see it.

if that permission scheme is associated with other projects will it affect them as well?

Yes. You will need to copy that one, modify it, then attach the new one to the project.
