Hi @Suma Kustagi

What version of Excel are you using?

After Microsoft made a change a while ago to protect against downloaded internet files, CSV files could open as blank/empty in Excel 2016 and earlier.  The suggested fix is to:

  • Select a download location other than the default MyDownloads folder, ensuring that you trust the location, and download the CSV file there.
  • Open Excel (without a file) and change the Options to add your download location: Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Trusted Locations
  • Save and exit Excel
  • Now try to open the CSV file again

Please note that if your enterprise manages your Office tool settings you may not be able to solve this without your own support team's assistance.

Best regards,

Bill

Hi,

If you change your browser settings you can change the default location or change it to prompt you for a location for each save.

I have never experienced this. One thing you might consider is to try the excel or google sheets icons at the top of the filtered list. Also, consider the Excel addon extension and run your JQL directly from excel.

Here is an image showing where you should see the option to export to Excel or Sheets.
