I am making a forge project settings app in jira using the UI kit 2. I have a Select component with different issue types as the options. For all options I set the defaultSelected property to true, but they still don't show up in the select box, instead I see 'Select...'
This is what part of my return statement looks like. I have already verified that the selectedOptions list is correctly filled. When using the app I can click the issueType options and they appear correctly in the settings box. It's only at startup that the select box doesn't fill itself with the options while the defaultSelected property for all of them is set to true.
<Select
label="Select Issue"
name="selectedIssue"
isMulti={true}
onChange={(selectedValues) => handleSelectChange(selectedValues)}
value={selectedOptions.map(option => ({ value: option, label: option }))}
>
{issueTypes
.filter(value => !selectedOptions.includes(value))
.map((issueType) => (
<Option
label={issueType}
value={issueType}
defaultSelected={true}
/>
))}
</Select>
