can jira could get status time spent

Is there a way to get the status of each issue and sort it, such as the time spent in new status, etc., hoping to be output as a bar chart or easy to view

Can it be done by jira itself or a free plugin？

You can theoretically do this with automation and a ton of trial and error (timestamps during status transitions, using custom fields and post processes), but you're better off with a paid addon like Time In Status. that just does this very nicely.

I am not aware of any free plugins to do this, and the amount of work that it would take to do it manually (free) is arguably much more expensive than the paid addon.
